About this Visa

The Green Visa is a residency permit for entrepreneurs and investors starting a business in the UAE. You sponsor yourself through your business—no employer needed. You control your own company and stay independent while building a life in the UAE. You can bring your family and access healthcare and education. This visa lets you own your business without depending on anyone else's permission. You don't need a local sponsor. It replaces the previous 2-year business residence visa with a longer 5-year option that is renewable. Updated December 2025: Green Visa program remains active as core business residency option following UAE's December 14, 2025 visa reforms.
