About this Visa

The investor visa lets you live and work in Dubai if you own or invest in a business. You don't need a UAE citizen to sponsor you—you're your own boss. This visa is different from employee visas because you control the business, not someone else. You can start a new company, buy into an existing one, or invest in real estate. The visa gives you legal permission to work, manage your business, and stay in the UAE long-term.
