About this Visa
This is a long-term residency visa for retired people. You can live in the UAE for 5 years without needing a job or employer sponsor. The visa is renewable, so you can stay longer if you want. This visa is special because you don't need to work. It's designed for retirees. You can bring your spouse and children with you. You must be 55 years old or have worked 15 years. You also need either AED 1 million ($272,000) in property, savings, or monthly income.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 55 years old OR have 15+ years of work experience
- Must have AED 1,000,000 in property, savings, or monthly income
- Must have health insurance for all 5 years
- Must have no criminal record
- Must have no unpaid fines or visa overstays in UAE
- Cannot stay outside UAE for more than 180 consecutive days
Financial Requirement
Choose ONE: Own AED 1,000,000 ($272,000) in property (can be mortgaged if equity = AED 1M), OR keep AED 1,000,000 in 3-year fixed deposit at UAE bank, OR earn AED 15,000-20,000 monthly ($4,086-$5,444), OR (Dubai only) AED 500,000 property + AED 500,000 savings. Must also have 5-year health insurance.
