About this Visa

This visa lets employees of global companies move to Austria temporarily for work. Your company must have offices in both your home country and Austria. You need to be a manager, specialist, or recent graduate in a training program. This visa is faster than regular work permits because your employer does not have to prove they cannot find local workers. You can bring your spouse and children with you.

  • Be assigned by a real global company
  • Be a manager (run a department), specialist (have special skills/knowledge), or graduate trainee (recent university graduate)
  • Have worked for same company continuously for 9 months (manager/specialist) or 6 months (trainee)
  • Earn minimum salary for your category
  • Have valid passport/travel document
  • Have health insurance covering all risks
  • Have contract saying you will return to home country office after assignment
  • Have no serious criminal record

Financial Requirement

Minimum salary: Managers €5,460/month (~$6,388 USD), Specialists €4,511/month (~$5,277 USD), Trainees €2,611/month (~$3,055 USD). Company must show real business operations.
