About this Visa
This visa lets aged parents live in Australia for 2 years. You need an adult child in Australia to sponsor you. You can work and travel, but you don't get Medicare (Australian public healthcare). After 2 years, you can apply for a permanent visa if you still qualify. This visa is for parents only—it's a temporary stepping stone to permanent residency, not a permanent solution.
