About this Visa

The Subclass 600 is Australia's main visitor visa. You can use it to visit family, go on holiday, or do business. You're a temporary visitor—not moving permanently or working. It's different from work visas because you cannot work under any circumstances. You must leave Australia when your visa expires. You cannot upgrade to a permanent visa while you're here.
