About this Visa

This visa lets you move to Belgium to live with your Belgian spouse. You can stay long-term and work. Non-Belgian people married to a Belgian citizen can apply. You must be at least 21 years old and legally married. You can work without getting special permission. You can bring your children. You have access to Belgian healthcare. You can eventually become a Belgian citizen after 5 years.

Financial Requirement

Your spouse must earn at least $2,722 per month (net, after taxes) for you alone. Add 10% more for each child or dependent you bring. Fast-track option: If your spouse earns $5,871+ (gross) per month, approval takes 2-4 weeks.
