About this Visa

The International Mobility Program (IMP) lets foreign workers come to Canada to work without Canada testing if it needs your job first. You don't need a Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), which saves time and money. This program is for skilled workers, young people, people transferring within their company, and students graduating from Canadian schools. The main benefit: You can start working faster than other Canadian work permit programs. Some nationalities get approval in just 2-3 weeks instead of 8+ weeks. This program has several pathways. Some are for specific countries with trade agreements. Others are for international youth. Some are for people marrying Canadians. Some are for people already working in Canada wanting to change employers. There's even a pathway for new Canadian graduates.
