About this Visa

A visa that lets your child go to elementary or high school in Canada. Your child studies full-time at a Canadian public or private school. Children aged 6 to 18 years old can attend Canadian schools. Your child can attend school, participate in sports and clubs, and get a Canadian diploma. Children cannot work (with rare exceptions in Quebec). Unlike university students, K-12 students don't need a provincial letter of approval. The application is simpler than university study permits.

Must prove CAD $22,895 for living costs, plus school tuition (CAD $10,000-$18,000 yearly), plus plane tickets home. Money can be in bank account, safe investment, or sponsor letter.
