About this Visa
This visa lets you move to Quebec to start or buy a business. You get permanent residence and eventually become a Canadian citizen. You must speak French, have business experience, and substantial money. You will personally run the business. This is not for passive investors. Quebec prioritizes this program differently than federal programs—French speakers can apply anytime without waiting in a queue.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 18 or older
- High school diploma required
- Speak French Level 7 (minimum—cannot be waived)
- 2+ years business or management experience in past 5 years
- Have required savings and deposits
- No criminal record
- Pass medical exam
- Have realistic, viable business plan
- Plan to live in Quebec and run the business yourself
- Prove money came from legal sources
Financial Requirement
Montreal: $500,000 deposits ($300,000 business + $200,000 security). Outside Montreal: $400,000 deposits ($200,000 business + $200,000 security). Plus savings: New to Quebec $600,000–$900,000; Already in Quebec 2+ years $300,000.
