About this Visa
The Manitoba Entrepreneur Pathway is for business people who want to move to the province of Manitoba, Canada. This program helps you start a new business or buy an existing one. It is designed for people who have the money and experience to manage a company day-to-day. First, you apply to get a temporary work permit. This lets you move to Manitoba and set up your business. If your business is successful after six months, the province nominates you for Permanent Residence. This means you and your family can stay in Canada forever.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a business owner or senior manager
- Net Worth: Have at least $500,000 CAD in verified assets
- Language: Score at least CLB 5 in English or French (intermediate level)
- Education: Have a high school diploma (Canadian equivalent)
- Ownership: You must own at least one-third (33%) of the business to qualify as an owner
- Active Role: You must manage the business daily, not just invest money
Financial Requirement
Personal Net Worth: $500,000 CAD minimum. Investment: $250,000 CAD (Winnipeg) or $150,000 CAD (Rural).
