About this Visa
The Type D visa lets you enter Switzerland to start and run your own business. It's for entrepreneurs who want to establish a company and stay longer than 90 days. You can actively manage your business, hire employees, and make all business decisions. You can bring your spouse and children to live with you. Switzerland doesn't have a special "startup founder visa." You use this Type D visa to enter, then apply for a B residence permit to actually live and work there.

Financial Requirement
