About this Visa
This visa lets you work and train in Switzerland for more than 3 months. You apply before you go to Switzerland. It's for people who want to do internships, learn a job, or work in their field. You get full work rights. You can work without special permission. You can also bring your spouse and children with you. People from 15 countries (Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Indonesia, Japan, Monaco, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, San Marino, South Africa, Tunisia, Ukraine, and USA) have a simpler process. Others must show the employer can't find local workers.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have job offer or internship from Swiss company
- Must have completed high school or vocational training
- No criminal record
- Must be in good health
- If not from special agreement countries: employer must prove they cannot find Swiss or EU workers
- For Young Professionals program: must be under 35 years old
Financial Requirement
For paid internships: employer must pay at least CHF 2,000 per month. For training positions: employer must guarantee living cost coverage. Proof required: employment contract, bank statements (3-6 months), proof of income.
