About this Visa
This visa lets foreign investors and company managers live and work in Chile. You invest USD 500,000 in a real business, and the government approves you to stay and manage it. Your spouse and kids can come with you and work too. The visa is for business people starting new companies, buying existing businesses, or managing a foreign company's operations in Chile. It's not for people just buying property to live in. This visa gives you a clear path to permanent residency after 2 years and Chilean citizenship after 5 years.
