About this Visa
The S2 is China's family visit visa. If you work or study in China, you can invite family to visit you. Your spouse, parents, children, siblings, or other close relatives can apply. The visa lets family members visit for short-term stays. They cannot work, study, or live permanently on this visa. It's for visiting only. This visa requires someone in China to sponsor you—unlike tourist visas that anyone can get. Your family member in China invites you and supports your visit.
