About this Visa
The X1 is China's student visa for people studying in China for more than 6 months. It's for university students, graduate students, and long-term language learners. Once you arrive in China, you must convert it to a residence permit within 30 days. This visa lets you stay legally while you study.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be admitted to recognized Chinese university
- No serious criminal record
- Must be in good health
- Must show genuine study intention
- Typically 18 years or older
- Chinese-taught programs: HSK 4+ or preparatory year
- English-taught programs: TOEFL or IELTS may be required

$2,500 USD per year (excluding tuition). Show bank statements from last 6 months or provide scholarship letter.
