About this Visa

This visa lets foreign investors live in Colombia while running a business or owning property. You get a temporary residence permit for up to 3 years that you can renew. After 5 years, you can get permanent residency. After 10 years total, you can become a Colombian citizen. The visa is open to people from all countries with no restrictions. You need to invest a set amount of money in Colombia and register it officially. In return, you get the right to live, work, and bring your family.
