About this Visa
This visa is for skilled workers who want to live and work in Cyprus long-term. You need professional qualifications (like a university degree) and work in a field that Cyprus needs—doctors, engineers, scientists, architects. You apply before you go to Cyprus, then convert to a residence permit after you arrive. You can work for yourself in your profession, not for a company. Your family (spouse and children) can come with you. This leads to permanent residency after 8 years. This is NOT for business owners starting companies. It's for professional workers with qualifications.
