About this Visa
The Long-term Business Visa (D/VC/06) is for non-EU citizens who want to start a business or work as freelancers in the Czech Republic. It is designed for entrepreneurs, self-employed people, and company directors. This visa lets you live in the country for more than 90 days to run your business. Once you have this visa, you can legally operate your own business or trade. You can also travel freely to other Schengen countries for short visits. It serves as a first step toward long-term residency in Europe.

Eligibility Criteria
- Business Purpose: You must have a valid trade license or company role in the Czech Republic
- Clean Record: You cannot have a criminal history in any country where you lived recently
- Accommodation: You must have a secured place to live for your entire stay
- Financial Stability: You must have enough money to support yourself without state help
- Health Insurance: You must buy specific medical insurance for your stay
- Interview Success: You must pass an interview about your business plans and knowledge
