Eligibility Criteria
- Have a college degree OR 3+ years of tech industry experience
- Have a signed job offer (minimum 6 months)
- Earn at least €48,300/year (€43,760 for shortage jobs)
- Be 18+ years old
- No serious criminal history
- Have health insurance
- Degree must be recognized as equal to German degree
- For regulated professions (doctor, lawyer, nurse, engineer): need separate professional license
Financial Requirement
Minimum annual salary: €48,300 ($56,850) for regular jobs; €43,760 ($51,470) for shortage occupations (tech, nursing, healthcare, engineering); €55,770 ($65,620) if age 45 or older. Employment contract must specify this salary.
