About this Visa
This visa lets you study at a German university for longer than 3 months. It's for anyone from any country who gets accepted to a German school. You can study for a degree, take a language course, or prepare for entrance exams. The visa is active right now (December 2025) and you can apply today. Getting approved is fairly easy if your documents are correct—92-95% of people get approved. Once you arrive in Germany, you get a residence permit.
