About this Visa
This residence permit allows you to live in Denmark without working. However, it is extremely restricted. It is mainly for citizens of the EU, EEA, or Switzerland who have their own money. If you are from outside the EU (like the USA, UK, or Canada), you generally cannot apply. The only exception is if you have already lived in Denmark for 12 years working for an international organization like the UN. You cannot use this visa to move to Denmark for the first time.
