About this Visa

This visa lets your spouse, partner, or children move to Ecuador to be with you. You must already be living in Ecuador on another visa for them to apply. They can work, go to school, and access healthcare like any resident. This is Ecuador's family reunification visa—the main way families stay together when one person gets an Ecuador residency visa. Your spouse (married), domestic partner (registered), or children under 18 can apply. Adult children with disabilities can also qualify.
