About this Visa
The Ecuador volunteer visa lets you live and work in Ecuador for a registered nonprofit, charity, or religious organization. You don't get paid—the organization usually provides housing, meals, and money for daily expenses. If your organization pays for housing and meals, you don't need to prove you have savings. You can also bring your spouse and children. After 21 months, you can apply to stay in Ecuador permanently.
