About this Visa

This visa is for people from outside Europe who want to study in Estonia for more than 3 months. You get it before you arrive in Estonia. It lets you study at any school, university, or training program in Estonia. With this visa, you can work during your studies without asking for permission. You can travel freely around 26 European countries. If you study for several years, you can eventually become a permanent resident and get Estonian citizenship. This visa is active and accepting applications. The only major restriction: Russian citizens cannot apply (banned since August 2022).
