About this Visa
The EU Blue Card is a work visa for skilled workers from outside Europe. It lets you live and work in Finland if you have a good job and the right qualifications. This visa is special because you can move to other European countries after 18 months and travel freely across Europe. What you can do: Work in your skilled job, bring your family (spouse and children), move to another European country after 18 months, travel across Europe without extra visas, and stay for as long as you keep your job.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have a job offer for at least 6 months
- Must be highly skilled - Either a degree (3+ years) OR 5+ years of work experience
- Must earn at least €3,827 per month ($4,500)
- Must have a clean background - No serious criminal convictions
- Must have health insurance covering at least €30,000
- Must be from outside Europe - Not from EU, EEA countries, or Switzerland
- No language requirement - You don't need to speak Finnish
