About this Visa

This visa lets you live in Finland with your spouse. You need one if your spouse lives in Finland and you're not from the EU. Your spouse must be a Finnish citizen or already have a residence permit. You can bring your spouse to live together permanently. This visa is still active and available right now. Many people get approved—90% for first permits and 97% for renewal.

Your spouse in Finland must earn enough money each month. Helsinki area: €1,210/month. Large cities (Tampere, Lahti, Rovaniemi): €1,090/month. Other cities: €1,030/month. No requirement if spouse is Finnish citizen. Proof: Bank statements (6 months), salary slips, tax return.
