About this Visa
This is a work visa that lets you move to Finland and run your own business. It's for people from countries outside the EU who want to be self-employed. You own and manage the business yourself—it's not a regular job. The visa lets you work without restrictions. You can bring your spouse and children with you. Once you get the visa, you can travel freely within Europe (the Schengen area). This is harder to get than a regular work visa. The government checks your business plan carefully to make sure it's real and profitable. Many applications are rejected if your business plan isn't detailed enough.
