About this Visa
The D4 visa lets your family join you in Georgia. You can bring your spouse and minor children if you have a valid work, study, or business visa in Georgia. You can live in Georgia for 6-12 months and renew it while your family member keeps their visa. You cannot work directly with this visa, but you can apply for a work permit separately. Eligibility Criteria
- Must be spouse or minor child of work/study/business visa holder in Georgia
- Sponsor must have valid D1/D2/D3 visa or legal residence permit
- No criminal record
- Valid passport
- Spouses must be at least 18 years old

Financial Requirement
Must show ability to support family member. No specific minimum for D4 visa itself. For residence permit issued after visa approval: approximately $2,000-$2,100 per year (2x subsistence minimum) or 550 GEL multiplied by months of residence.
