About this Visa
Germany's work visa for skilled professionals. You need a job offer to apply. It lets you live and work in Germany for several years. People with a university degree or vocational training qualify. Also for people with 3+ years of work experience in their field. You must have a real job offer first. Work anywhere in Germany without restrictions. Bring your spouse and children. Travel throughout Europe (Schengen area). Stay for 3-4 years, then apply for permanent residence. Germany changed the rules in 2024 to make it easier. You don't need a minimum salary if you're under 45 years old. Your parents can now join you after March 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
- No age limit
- Must have university degree OR vocational training (2+ years) OR 3+ years professional experience
- No language requirement for most jobs (A1 German for some roles, IT jobs usually exempt)
- Must have real job offer from German company

- Salary must meet minimum based on age and education
Financial Requirement
Under 45 years old: No minimum salary required. Age 45+: Must earn €55,770/year ($60,840). Practical work experience route: €45,934/year ($50,100).
