About this Visa
This visa lets you legally live and work in Greece. You work online for companies outside Greece—not for Greek employers. It's designed for remote workers, freelancers, and self-employed people who want to live in Greece while keeping their international jobs. The visa gives you permission to stay, access to healthcare, and special tax breaks. You can bring your spouse and children with you. After 7 years, you can become a Greek citizen. Current Status: The visa is active and accepting applications as of December 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must NOT be from EU, EEA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway), or Switzerland
- Work remotely for employers or clients outside Greece
- Earn at least €3,500/month after taxes
- Have valid passport
- Have no serious criminal record
- Show 6 months of consistent income via bank statements
- Have health insurance coverage
- Have housing arranged in Greece
Financial Requirement
Minimum €3,500/month net income (solo); €4,200 with spouse; €4,830 with spouse + 1 child; add 15% per additional dependent. Proven via 6 months of bank statements.
