About this Visa
This visa lets researchers from outside Europe work in Croatia at universities or research institutes. You need a research job or position at a Croatian university or research institute. You can work as a researcher without getting a separate work permit. You can stay for 1 year and renew it. Your family (spouse and children) can come with you. This is specifically for people doing scientific research, not for tourists or students.

Eligibility Criteria
- Have a real research job at a Croatian research institution or university
- Have enough money to support yourself
- Have no criminal record
- Have health insurance
- Have a valid passport
- Must register residence within 3 days of arrival or lose visa
- Work only for specified employer; cannot change jobs without permission
- Family members must apply separately and cannot work without own work permit
Financial Requirement
