About this Visa
This is a work visa for people from outside the EU who want to work in Hungary. A Hungarian company hires you, and you get permission to live and work there legally for up to 3 years. IMPORTANT: This visa is now very restricted. Only people from Georgia, Armenia, and the Philippines can apply as of January 2025. If you're from another country, you'll need a different type of visa. The visa lets you work for one specific employer in Hungary. You can't switch jobs without getting a new visa. Your family can't join you (except babies born in Hungary). After 3 years, you have to leave or switch to a different visa type.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be from Georgia, Armenia, or the Philippines (only these 3 countries as of January 2025)
- Must have a real job offer from a Hungarian company
- The company must pass a background check (no tax problems, no labor law violations)
- No serious criminal record
- Must pass a basic health check
- Must be able to afford to live in Hungary
- Must have valid health insurance
Financial Requirement
Show you have enough money to live in Hungary (no fixed minimum amount). The job's salary must follow Hungary's minimum wage rules: HUF 290,800/month minimum (~$860 USD).
