About this Visa
This visa is for people selected for government-sponsored training programs in Hungary. The government pays for your training through a scholarship. This is NOT for university students or private training. You get permission to stay in Hungary for 1 year to complete your training. The government chooses who gets in, so it is selective. It is different from student visas and work visas. Only for official government training.

Eligibility Criteria
- NOT from EU, EEA, or Switzerland
- Be accepted to official government training
- Have a government or ministry scholarship
- Speak enough of the language to participate
- Have no criminal record
- Have health insurance
- Not be banned from traveling to Europe
Financial Requirement
Show you can pay for food, housing, travel, and healthcare for 1 year. Your scholarship letter usually covers this. You need about €5,000-10,000 in savings or scholarship support.
