About this Visa
This is a work visa for people with special skills that Iceland needs. If you have a university degree plus work experience (or 7+ years of experience), you can apply to work in Iceland. You can work in Iceland for an Icelandic company. You can bring your spouse and children. After 4 years, you can stay permanently. After 7 years, you can become an Icelandic citizen. People with expert knowledge in fields like IT, engineering, healthcare, tourism, and construction can apply. You must have a job offer from an Icelandic company first.
