About this Visa
This visa lets you work in Ireland temporarily if you already work for a company in another EU country. Your employer sends you there for a short project—you're not moving permanently. It's much cheaper than other work visas and doesn't require an Irish work permit. Who it's for: Workers from non-EU countries who are legally employed and living in EU member states. What's special: This visa is faster and cheaper than regular Irish work permits. You don't need to prove a high salary or get employer sponsorship from Ireland. Your EU employer just needs to send you there temporarily.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizen
- Must be legally employed by company in EU member state
- Must actually live in that EU country
- Coming to Ireland for 12 months or less
- Must work as employee (not self-employed)
- Must promise to return to home country when done
- Cannot have previous visa rejections without disclosure
- Cannot be self-employed
- Cannot already have Intra-Company Transfer permit
- Cannot intend permanent residence in Ireland
Financial Requirement
No minimum income or savings required. Must prove ability to support yourself without using Irish government benefits.
