About this Visa

This visa is for students from outside Europe who want to study in Ireland for more than 90 days. It allows you to live in Ireland, study full-time at a university, and work part-time to pay your bills. You typically need this visa before you travel if you are from a "visa-required" country like India, China, or Nigeria. If you are from the USA or Brazil, you skip the visa application and register after you land.
