About this Visa
This visa lets foreign people start a new business in Fukuoka, Japan. You get 6 months to 2 years to prepare and launch your company. The government helps you with office space, advice, and networking. You don't need a lot of money upfront to start. This is designed to help foreign entrepreneurs start businesses that Japan needs. Who it's for: Foreign entrepreneurs (people starting new businesses). You can't use this to join an existing company as an employee. Key advantage: You can start without renting office space or having large capital first. The city supports you during your preparation time.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- At least 20 years old
- No criminal record
- Enough money for 6 months (living plus startup)
- Detailed real business plan
- No serious health issues
- Planning to start NEW business, not join existing company
- Business must be in tech, healthcare, green energy, logistics, or international trade with Fukuoka
- No Japanese language requirement
- No university degree required
- No work experience requirement
Financial Requirement
Must show at least 6 months of living expenses plus startup costs. Must prove where money came from with bank statements. If approved before October 16, 2025, need ¥5 million (~$32,000) to transition later. After October 16, need ¥30 million (~$193,000).
