About this Visa
This visa lets your company move you from an overseas office to work at your company's Japanese location. You can stay for 3 months up to 5 years. Your company must sponsor you and prove they have a real business relationship between the two offices. This visa is different because it's only for people already working at your company. You cannot change jobs while you have it. Your company decides how long you stay—not you.

Eligibility Criteria
- Worked at current company 1+ year continuously
- Job is engineer, accountant, lawyer, designer, translator, or international business specialist
- No criminal record
- Pay taxes on time
- Have bachelor's degree OR 10+ years work experience
- Company is legally registered and financially stable
- Clear business relationship between overseas and Japanese company
Financial Requirement
Salary must equal or exceed what a Japanese worker earns in the same job. Typically at least ¥200,000 per month ($1,300 USD), varies by job and location.
