About this Visa
This visa lets you work in Japan as an engineer, skilled professional, or specialist. You need a university degree (or 10+ years of experience) in your field. A Japanese company must hire you and sponsor your visa application. You work only for that company. The visa covers three types of work: Engineers in tech, science, and IT; Specialists in Humanities in business, design, sales, and accounting; and International Services specialists in translation, interpretation, and cultural work. This is Japan's most common work visa for educated professionals. This visa is actively available right now. Thousands of people use it every year.
