About this Visa
The D-2 visa lets you study at a Korean university and earn a degree. Your university accepts you into a degree program (associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctorate), and they help you get the visa. This is for serious students completing full programs, not casual language learners. You can study, work part-time, and live in Korea the entire time. After you graduate, you can stay up to 3 more years to find a job. After graduation, you can stay 3 years on a job seeker visa to find work. Five years of work in Korea can lead to permanent residency and citizenship.
