About this Visa
This is a work permit that lets you live and work in Latvia. You need a job offer from a Latvia company first. People from countries outside the EU who want to work in Latvia. You must have a job contract ready before you apply. Work full-time for your employer. Live in Latvia legally. Bring your family. Travel around Europe. Later, apply for permanent residence or citizenship.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a signed job contract with a Latvia company
- Must earn the minimum salary required
- Must be in good health
- Must have no criminal record
- Must pass a background check
- Must have health insurance
- Must show sufficient funds to live on
- Employer must be registered in Latvia
- Employer must prove they tried to find local workers first
- Employer must prove they are a legitimate, registered business
Financial Requirement
You must earn at least $1,850/month USD ($1,685 EUR) for a normal work permit, or $2,780/month USD ($2,528 EUR) for an EU Blue Card. Your employer must prove they can pay you this amount.
