About this Visa

This visa allows you to move to Lithuania to live with a family member who is already there. It is designed for spouses, registered partners, and minor children. In some cases, dependent parents can also apply. Your family member (the sponsor) usually must live in Lithuania for 2 years before you can join them. However, if they have a high-skilled job (Blue Card) or own a startup, you can join them immediately. This visa leads to a residence permit and eventually permanent residency.

  • Travel freely within the Schengen Area (Europe)
