This visa lets non-EU people bring their family members to live with them in Luxembourg permanently. You can sponsor your spouse, partner, and children. Eligibility Criteria
- Sponsor has lived in Luxembourg at least 1 year (exceptions apply for sole custody, EU Blue Card holders, transferred workers, researchers, long-term EU residents)
- Sponsor earns €2,704+ monthly
- Sponsor has suitable housing (minimum 12m² + 9m² per person)
- Sponsor has health insurance
- No serious criminal record for sponsor or family members
- Family member is age 18+ for spouse/partner or under 18 for children
- Family member from country requiring visa
- Valid passport with 6+ months validity
Financial Requirement
Sponsor must earn at least €2,704 per month ($3,185 USD). Proof required: last 12 months pay stubs, tax returns, or income statements.
