About this Visa

This visa lets you get a Luxembourg residence permit by investing a large amount of money in a Luxembourg business. You become a business owner, not a regular worker. Only 9 people have gotten this since 2017—it is very expensive and hard to qualify for. If approved, you can live, work, and run your own business in Luxembourg. WARNING: This visa is being discontinued. The government submitted a bill to parliament in September 2025 to shut it down. It is still active now (December 2025), but new applications may close soon. You have a limited window. Who it is for: People outside the EU with significant money (€500,000+) who want to move to Luxembourg permanently.
