About this Visa
This visa lets you work in Luxembourg for a short time (up to 90 days). You need it if you're not from the EU and want to do paid work for less than 3 months. It's different from a tourist visa because it gives you permission to earn money. Your employer must get special approval first before you can apply. This is a temporary work visa that does NOT lead to permanent residence. If you want to stay longer than 90 days, you need a different visa (Type D long-stay). You cannot work for any other employer, and you must register at your local commune within 3 days of arrival. About 87% of applications get approved, which is the lowest rejection rate in Europe. Your employer must prove they looked for EU workers first through a 3-week advertising period before you can apply.
