About this Visa
This visa lets you live and work in Latvia as a remote worker. You must work for a company outside Latvia—not for any Latvian business. It is for people who earn money from overseas jobs or clients. This visa does not lead to permanent residency. After 2 years, you cannot stay unless you switch to a different visa type. You need to earn enough money each month and have health insurance for your stay. You must be a citizen of an OECD country to apply. This visa is temporary and designed for digital nomads and remote professionals.
