About this Visa
This visa allows employees of international companies to move to Latvia. If your employer has a branch in Latvia, they can transfer you there to work. You must be a manager, a specialist with key skills, or a trainee. This permit lets you live and work in Latvia legally. You can bring your family with you, and they can work too. You can also travel freely to other European countries for short trips. This is a temporary visa only. You cannot use it to stay in Latvia forever. When your time is up, you must leave or switch to a different work permit.

Eligibility & Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Must currently work for the company outside the EU
- Must have worked there for at least 6 continuous months
- Must hold a Manager, Specialist, or Trainee position
- Must have a university degree or professional experience
- Must maintain the required monthly salary
- Must return home after the transfer ends
Financial Requirement
Salary of at least $1,980 (€1,685) per month. Managers usually need $2,975+ (€2,528+).
