About this Visa
This visa lets you live in Latvia by investing money in the country. You can invest in a business, buy property, or put money in a bank deposit. Once approved, you get a residence card to live and work in Latvia for 5 years. The main benefit: You can travel freely across 29 European countries without extra visas. You can also work and bring your family. After 5 years, you can get permanent residency. After 10 years, you can become a Latvian citizen. This visa is for people NOT from the European Union or Switzerland. It's one of Europe's cheapest residency programs—you can start with just €50,000 (about $58,600).

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 18 or older
- Cannot be from Russia or Belarus
- Must have clean criminal record
- Must have enough money to support yourself
- Must have valid health insurance

Financial Requirement
Must prove you have at least $588/month per adult and $176/month per child to live on. If investing in a business, that business must pay at least $46,900/year in taxes to Latvia.
