About this Visa
Malaysia offers four pathways for business visitors. There is no single visa called "Business Visitor Pass." The main options are: Short-Term Social Visit Pass (for business meetings), Professional Visit Pass (for temporary work), PLS@XPATS Pass (for urgent work in critical sectors), and visa-free entry (for 50+ countries). Business visitors can attend meetings and negotiate deals, but work is only permitted on Professional Visit Pass or PLS@XPATS Pass. Most business travelers use either visa-free entry (if eligible) or the Social Visit Pass. Visa-free entry is available to approximately 50 countries and requires no application. China nationals receive 90-day visa exemption until December 31, 2026. India nationals receive 30-day visa exemption until December 31, 2026. Choose your option based on your needs: visa-free for quick trips under 90 days with no paid work, Social Visit Pass for longer business visits without paid work, Professional Visit Pass if you need to work for a Malaysian company (1-12 months), or PLS@XPATS for urgent work in approved sectors (30 days, free).
